Nice covered play area for when it gets hot. "One of the best parks our family has visited. There are picnic tables and fields to play in as well. A creek, swings, a zip line, slides, climbing nets, and of course, the silos. The bathrooms are a little odd, but clean and functional. Our 1st visit saw a camp of somewhere around kids in addition to all the families, and the kids were all very nice and everyone took turns on everything and there was enough room that everyone could do stuff relatively quickly.ĭog park around the corner and dog water by the playground! Gorgeous and clean facility!" The place is a work of art in itself, but the equipment is very modern and inspiring, and the place is huge. "We went by a couple times during our business trip, and it was one of the most incredible parks we have ever been to! Do yourself a favor and check it out early in the morning and as soon as you get into town if traveling like we were." The community garden and hop bines are gorgeous. A small zip line for the kids among a giant slide as well as a splash area in the creek are definitely some of the highlights. "This park has to be one of the best kept secrets in Fort Collins as we found it on our last day in town and wished we could have stayed longer just for this park alone. There is a single swing but not much else." The only thing it could benefit from is more accessible equipments for children with disabilities, specifically wheel chairs. If you wander a bit from the play structure there is a community garden to enjoy, beautiful flowers, baseball diamonds, a pump track, and trails for walking/riding. There is a water fountain for both people and animals. ![]() The public restrooms are close by and fairly clean. ![]() "A must-visit if you have kids are in the area! We drive up from the Westminster area just to go here. There are even a few picnic tables underneath the awning, providing a great place for parents to take a breather. In hot weather this park is great because so much of it is covered (no burning your butt on slides!), and on most days the breeze blowing through the structure keeps everyone cool. And it's all set far enough back from the road that it feels safe and confined, even with kids that like to bolt. Play structure adjacent there is a large, open field ideal for soccer or a game of catch, along with multiple picnic areas (some shaded). There is equipment for every age range - multiple slides, climbing nets, tunnels, swings, a zip line, teeter totter, and more. The main play area is so large (vertically and square feet) that it never feels crowded, even with lots of families. A must-visit if you have kids are in the area! We drive up from the Westminster area just to go here.
